Mexicanos

In October I will be traveling to Mexico to vacation and volunteer with a huge spay and neuter clinic.  The clinic plans to do 150 spay/neuters per day!  Why help Mexican cats and dogs?  A lot of us have walked the streets of Mexico on vacation and seen the numbers of homeless animals.  To help with animal rescue here is amazing, to say the least.  But to have the opportunity to make a difference in a place where, on the outside there seems to be so little hope for these animals, and then to team up with people who are RESCUING, literally, and bringing animals out of garbage dumps and nursing them back to life from starvation and disease, and even sometimes just loving them when death is inevitable, this is something that I tell you will change your life.  His name was Lazo and he changed mine and he was a little Mexican street dog who had no value to anyone, so little that he was tossed out like garbage and yet came home with me and will forever be a story of inspiration.

If you want to help (travel to Mexico and volunteer, donate clinic supplies, donate money, transport animals) please be in touch with me, there are so many ways to help!  These rescues would NOT have happened without volunteers and donations...
